The Role
The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) invites applications for Engineering Supervisor on regular basis (BPS-13) from candidates holding Balochistan domicile.
•Monitor data centre infrastructure for smooth operation of equipment (racks, servers and power systems including rectifiers and battery banks), report faults and troubleshoot •Operate and monitor data centre services, including cloud and virtualization platforms, networks and security •Operate and monitor Next Generation Network (voice and broadband) elements such as softswitch and MSAGs •Operate and monitor transmission network elements such as DWDM, SDH, Layer-2 and Layer-3 switches, microwave and radio access network •Maintain and rectify faults in the access network, including optical fiber (FTTX, GPON) and copper cable networks •Operate and monitor the broadband network, including BRAS, switches and customer premises devices •Prepare daily fault reports and keep records of opening/ closure of services and assets •Supervise repair and maintenance tasks of the existing setup •Implement SOPs and processes for smooth operations and maintenance
