The Role
The O Level English Teacher plans and delivers the O Level English language and literature curriculum and prepares students for examinations at The City School Jinnah Campus Qasimabad, Hyderabad.
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the O-Level curriculum • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and learning activities • Teach English language and literature while developing students’ reading, writing, communication, and analytical skills • Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback • Prepare students for O-Level examinations through effective revision and examination strategies • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment • Integrate appropriate digital tools and innovative teaching strategies into lessons • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress • Collaborate with colleagues, Section Heads, and parents to support student development • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, school events, and academic activities • Contribute to curriculum planning, schemes of work, learning resources, and assessment practices

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
3-5 years of relevant teaching experience at O Level or equivalent level
